The initial email exchanges were genuinely useful and set a positive tone. The screening call itself was a different experience. The interviewer had her camera off throughout and did not feel particularly engaged, which made it difficult to have a real conversation. For a company that clearly invests in its product and brand, it felt like the candidate experience had not received the same attention.
