I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ping Golf (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
I applied online and didn't hear anything for months. I had all but forgotten about applying in the first place when I received a phone call from the hiring manager. We talked a bit about the position and what the job itself would entail, but there weren't many questions for me at that time. I followed up with a thank-you email and didn't hear anything back for another few weeks. Eventually, I got a response requesting a Zoom interview, which was a three-part call entailing an interview/conversation with 1) the other patent engineers, then 2) a group of design engineers and finally 3) head of legal. Overall questions were geared towards why I wanted this role, ability to commit to at least a few years in Phoenix, and whether my interest was specifically in IP or the company itself. Followed up after that call with another email, received a call a few weeks later with a verbal offer. Didn't get an email offer in writing until a few days after that. The process from applying to getting the offer in writing took probably 2-3 months.

Question 1
They asked about flexibility in moving to Phoenix. The company culture isn't accepting of full-time remote or heavily remote positions, so moving physically here was a non-negotiable.
