I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PickTrace in Feb 2021
Interview
Recruiter screen, followed by 45 min interview by hiring manager.
Invited to virtual super Day (spread across 2 days) - 5 interviews total.
3 of these were 45 mins each (one each with Engg, Product Management and Co-founder)
2 were one hour each (one each with Hiring Manager, and Head of Operations)
The team is smart, passionate, warm and cordial. They send a goodie box to candidates who get invited to super day :)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PickTrace (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2019
Interview
Got recruited via LinkedIn. I was invited onsite for my very first interview. Great atmosphere from the second I walked through the door. I was interviewed by the COO and the Director of Operations. By the end of the first interview, I was told I would be moving forward. A few days later I was emailed so we could determine a date and time for the second interview. The second interview was a little over three hours with various members of the team (COO, Chief of Staff, Dir. of Ops, and their current Implementation Manager). I was asked for references and a few days later was offered the job. They even sent an awesome package with chocolates, a bottle of champagne and a hand-written card from the CEO and COO before I accepted!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you approach teaching customers who might have difficulty with technology?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PickTrace (Glendale, CA)
Interview
The interview is a bit different from standard technical interviews. There are still some CS basics like algorithms and structures but they're pretty straightforward and really close to what any regular developer will do on a daily basis.
Other parts of the interview actually are more interesting and allow to share the real experience one could have through their career. There is a presentation based on previous experience which could be based on any projects, even open source on GitHub and design and coding session of a semi-real Web API.
