In full candor – while we believe there are missing events not mentioned in your comments, we wholeheartedly agree that we all have a responsibility to one another during this time. Especially, with health and unemployment issues surrounding us, everyone has an obligation to do its part to make things better. So, when we virtually meet a seemingly passionate and interesting, non-local candidate who may be able to fill a critical need of a critical business – and who separately is already in our area for a personal matter – we will allow that person to interview to avoid future travel and conversations. I believe someone of the past said it best: carpe diem. And, as we continue to hire multiple key positions during this time when employment is so volatile, we will always choose the path involving carpe diem (whilst now, with a mask).
