I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PetSmart in Nov 2010
Interview
The day I was interviewed, Corporate was also there doing their thing. I had answered an ad with the Night Care Pet Specialist title, but the actual ad suggested it was a stocking job, and they would train to use a forklift. I was called to come in for an interview. When I was interviewed, the position was described as 'some cleanging, some stocking'. I agreed to that and was hired on the spot after being interviewed by 2 managers. The actual job was no stocking and all cleaning up after, walking and feeding up to 60 dogs a night alone.
Petsmart is big on their associates being "Pet Parents" so much of my interview was spent talking about my dog, cats and my daughter's horse. I showed pictures of them on my ipod and did the typical pet parent bragging. Aside from the basic "tell me about how you handled a difficult situation" and "what is your biggest challenge in the workplace" type questions, we mostly talked about dogs.

Interview
Easy friendly interview, it is a multi -step process. Interviewer was knowledgable about tasks required and very thorough in explaining what job tasks would be, required hours, and what would be required to do the job.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at PetSmart in Aug 2012
Interview
I submitted an application on their website. They called and set up an interview with the manager of the Pet Hotel. He was friendly and the interview went smoothly. Another interview was set up with the manager of the Store. She was also friendly and asked similar questions. They consulted each other after I left and I got the call to come in for the offer about 5 hours later.

Question 1
They asked if I was a smoker because the overnight people get secured into the building and smokers have quit quickly when they realized they could not go out for breaks.
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at PetSmart (Bethesda, MD) in Jun 2015
Interview
Informal and honestly disrespectful. I had to appear for the interview technically three times to have it completed. The hotel "Manager" showed no interest in the interview and rushed through any and all responsibilities that you will be doing for the job. The "Manager" also came off as sarcastic and incompetent for his job title due to the lack of respect from his coworkers and lack of knowledge of work responsibility.
