Round table interview with the whole department and all prospective future colleagues. Each individual member had the opportunity to ask a question of their own. Was about 30-40 minutes long.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Peru State College (Peru, NE)
Interview
One interview with the asst. athletic director. A few questions asked were asked. It helps to know someone prior to applying or inquiring about a job in this department.

Interview
The phone interview was not stressful at all; just a few questions trying to feel out whether or not you knew the type of institution you were applying to. This part of the interview was with the supervising dean of the appropriate school. The on campus interview was odd and a bit unorganized. You meet with the faculty in your discipline give a presentation (some confusion as to whether or not this was supposed to be a mock classroom lecture or based on your research interest), HR, and possibly a VP or the President. There is also a time to meet the campus community but very few people outside of your field attend this meeting.
