The worst interview process I’ve ever experienced. The process took over 6 weeks. It was ridiculous. If you want a candidate to lose interest, drag out the interview process for a month and a half and during the final interview tell them that the reason this position is open is because the current Associate Media Manager left because there wasn’t opportunity for growth. I applied via LinkedIn and reached out to the job poster and was contacted to set up a phone interview immediately. After that, things went downhill. I had a 4 hour interview at the Santa Monica office and when I walked in I immediately got a “sad” vibe. The office was a mess, the employees seemed unhappy and the overall environment was shockingly depressing for an advertising agency. I work with Publicis at my current company, which is why I initially applied, but I couldn’t be more happy to accept an offer with another company. The recruiter was very friendly, but the fact that this entire process took over 6 weeks is unacceptable. I understand that it’s ultimately the responsibility of the hiring team to make a decision, but being a recruiter, it’s your job to have a sense of urgency to fill the position. All in all, I wish I could get back the PTO hours I used to interview for this position. Save yourself the time unless you plan on working there for a year and then leaving.

A few rounds of Virtual interviews but overall the interview process was great. Everyone that I spoke to throughout the process were very nice and transparent. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
