I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pepperstone Group (Melbourne) in Mar 2025
Interview
Had a quick screening with HR, then a interview with two engineers, a lead and a senior. Nice, friendly and straightforward questions. At the end of the interview, there was no indication of how it went, and the person I initially did the HR screening with never got back to me, I sent a follow up email about 1 week after the interview to see how it went and no response in almost two weeks. Shows a lack of respect for applicants to not at least tell them they do not want to proceed any further.

Question 1
General inquiries about the tech stack I had worked with, asked to explain my experience with those.
I had a very positive interview experience with the team. From the first outreach through the offer stage, the process was communicated clearly, handled professionally, and moved at a good pace.
A special mention to the Talent Acquisition team, who managed the process exceptionally well. They were responsive, transparent about the role and next steps, and made the offer discussion feel respectful and well-organised. I appreciated that they took the time to address questions properly rather than treating the process as purely transactional.
The interview conversations were also relevant and engaging, with a clear focus on the role’s responsibilities, technical expectations, and how the position supports the broader business. Overall, it left me with a strong impression of a company that values candidate experience and communicates with professionalism.
