I applied online. I interviewed at Peppermill Resorts (Reno, NV) in Dec 2024
Interview
Interview process is unique. They ask you a couple questions by phone after looking over your resume. Then they will invite you to the office for an in-person interview if you answer the simple questions with what they're looking for. Important part of the in-person interview is following simple instructions. Reading the email, following it step-by-step on how to get to and inside the building. Interview is simple from there, typing test, general customer service experience questions. Willingness to work late hours. Management is kind and honest.
You walk into a hot, crowded room of people sitting in front of computers in a building outside of the resort. The interviewers were friendly but the process was exhaustive. I was told after my first interview that the position I had applied for was no longer available. Then when it became available again I had to endure two additional interviews in which I was asked the same exact questions by a different interviewer each time. They said I was perfect for the job but then offered a starting wage $5 lower than the indeed ad. Huge waste of time.
