The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Baltimore, MD) in Mar 2010
Interview
Penske is a thorough interviewing company. They will most likely have you sit with more than one person two possibly three times. For sales Positions it is important to provide a sales/marketing plan as they will ask in different and detailed ways how you plan to immediately contribute. A focus on gaining new business right away is a strong position to take, but do not neglect current customers and your support staff. Having a plan for how to create a team atmosphere from your office assistant to your service managers is a HUGE part. hint* buy your mechanics pizza/donuts etc... they'll love ya and it will make a great first impression.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Little Rock, AR) in Nov 2020
Interview
Very relaxed. You will interview with the District Rental Manager, area rental manager and district manager. If you started out as a management trainee, interview will be focused around your performance as an MT and your plan to be successful in the new role regarding prospecting, cold calling, etc.
I applied online, which was pretty easy; got a phone call week later and scheduled a time. The interview was very laid back and the questions were directed to my past experiences handling a fast paced environment and learning things on the fly.
