I said I’d check it first, and he replied, “Let me know when you’ve checked it, then we can continue.” I even heard someone else being asked the same thing. It felt suspicious — cloning an unknown repo can be risky , why should they ask it in first video-call? since it might contain malicious code or scripts that run automatically.
