Interview
Shortlisting was done through cocubes and they called 606 students for technical interview. The hiring process was literally very very poor. Some of the interviewer took two-three interview at a time in adjacent room. I was interviewed by interviewer, and he take 3 interview at a time in three adjacent room in round 2.
I don't know why they called these much students for interview if they can't managed, the even can't make sitting arrangements, sequence for the students to be called for interview. I am done with all the rounds. In first technical, than second technical, than finally hr BUT I DIDN'T GET ANY REPLY REGARDING OFFERED / NOT OFFERED.
They have replied offered email to either 1- they have offer from other company. 2- they are not offered from other company and also they have done nothing (based on the referrals )
They replied few other with not offered email. And for other they didn't reply.
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY TO ATTEND PAYTM'S INTERVIEW IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY REFERRALS.
Don't wait for there reply try to attend some other drives also as they take 30-60days to declare the result if you are lucky one ... Otherwise you will not get any reply from them.

As a frontend developer, I was asked about the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, along with explaining what generator functions are, why Redux is used for state management, the purpose of middleware like Thunk and Saga, and the main differences between Thunk and Saga when handling asynchronous actions in an application.

First, a test url is shared. The test was of 30 mins. Worst test to judge a candidate. 25 MCQs that does not make any sense on a very bad platform. First round was rescheduled. I joined the meeting link. No one joined. It was rescheduled to the next day. Even on the next day, no one joined. I had to call the HR to tell that. After that a person joined after 15 mins. Very easy questions were asked like Closure, Hoisting, Event loop, polyfill and currying. I answered and implemented but got a rejection mail in 5 mins after the interview. Don’t waste a candidate’s time.
