I applied for the Data Analyst position at PatientFi Inc. The initial communication was prompt, and I received an email on April 25 asking me to provide my interview availability. I submitted two different time slots as requested, but I did not receive any confirmation or follow‑up.
On May 5, the recruiter (Anna Gebhart) reached out again asking for my availability. I provided two more time options the same day. However, after that, there was no update, no confirmation, and no communication for more than a week.
The lack of follow‑through made the process feel disorganized and unprofessional. Providing availability multiple times without receiving a confirmed interview time or any status update was disappointing. Clear communication and timely follow‑up are essential parts of a positive candidate experience, and unfortunately, that was missing here.
I hope the company can improve their interview coordination and communication with candidates in the future.
I was emailed by the manager to set up a phone interview the interview lasted about 30 mins and they were very thorough regarding their information and provided a lot of background to their company and role.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PatientFi
Interview
The recruiter was very kind, responsive and excited to gear me forward. The gentleman I interviewed with also overall very friendly and ended up not moving me forward because he didn't like that I asked for the "sale" essentially at the end. I think most people nowadays are tired of the back and forth with interviews, the dance and this mentality of keeping people anxious or on their toes. If someone says based on everything we discussed would you have an hesitations in moving me forward? Why not answer? Two fold question, one it gives the candidate an opportunity to showcase rebuttal skills and two it saves time, if we aren't in alignment why waste anyone's time including your own? It was very odd feedback to recieve for a sales job. Ended up getting a higher offer elsewhere and am on pace for 180% attainment; everything worked out as it should. Just that piece rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sure overall it's a great company, and I'll continue to ask for the business as I do 😊.
