Interview
I was emailed about scheduling an interview, after having my resume submitted by a current employee. They were looking to hire entry level engineers for a recently won contract. I was contacted within a few days of the interview to be notified of my job offer. I was asked to come in to fill out paperwork and begin working that week. I asked for one day to postpone due to my college graduation and they were very understanding. The process was very straight forward and quick.

Experience matters, if you are already from the domain they are looking for then interview is easier. So the interviewers would be asking more from your resume and background to make sure you have all the experience mentioned in your resume.
