      Customer Service Representative Interview

      9 Jan 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sunderland, North East England, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I interviewed at Parseq (Sunderland, North East England, England) in Dec 2017

      Interview

Had to fill in this 4 page application form at the reception desk with all the information that they would have already had in the first place, got taken into a room and was given some information about the company, but it was different from the job that I applied for (which was a bit strange), had to do a 1 minute typing test by copying words already on the computer screen and was marked. Got given a 2 minute show around the building (mostly a waste of time) and then was taken for a group task between the 3 of us and had to discuss why a particular type of person should be allowed to go to another planet incase of earth's destruction and had to give reasons why. The other 2 people at the interview were taken for one-to-one interviews and then when it came to me, they said that they wouldn't bother doing the questions as I would fail it due to only having a couple of months of customer service experience and said for me to go onto the course and that was it. Complete waste of my time. However, one of the candidates had already worked there previously, left and reapplied later (which doesn't look promising). Had a look at other reviews and they are not very good and they have had problem with trade unions about pay and working conditions. They need to sort their recruitment process out.
