This is for the Metamora, Ohio site. I did a phone screen then 2 on-site multi panel interviews. The first day I had 3 panels and like 8 people then the second one I had one panel with another 4 people. A total of 12 people is ridiculous and why it could not be the same day is beyond me. The second panel of people were functional leads, not the hiring manager or plant manager. I emailed for follow-up after the second panel after about a week and was told it'd be another week or two. They never followed up and ghosted me, when the communication was great until they decided to pass on me. Pretty absurd after spending 3 hours in panel interviews, twice on site, and an hour for a tour for a role I was overqualified for. They can't reply to an email? 6 months later and they are still re-posting the role every week. What a joke! I've never been ghosted after an on-site interview, let alone two day's worth. If you want people to spend time coming to interview, show some respect. I don't care if the job market is bad, you should treat people better and are unrealistic if you can't find someone in 6 months.
