Process began in November 25' ended with a email rejection in February 26' following 4 interviews - 1 in each month since November, December, January, and February. Four months I gave all of my commitment throughout. I had interviewed with high ranking Sr. Directors and C-suite members to get an email rejection following the last interview which was carried out by a new Sr. Director who this role would be reporting. If someone is overqualified, don't let it stop you from hiring that person - and good lord, tell them that's your concern but let them speak to it. And vice versa, if they aren't your prime candidate for this role but you've liked them enough to invite them through 4 rounds and 4 months of interviewing, by golly, offer them a different role you think they'd be a better fit! Extremely disheartening when you give your all and there's no continuity internally.
