I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Paradigm Strategy (Madison, AL) in May 2026
Interview
Step 1: recruiter screen w/ head of people - over the phone - 30 mins, covering the basics
Step 2: hiring manager interview - 60 mins - covering experience, quota attainment, approach, etc. with ability to ask questions
Step 3: Behavioral / values assessment interview (one interviewer) - 60 mins. Spent 40 answering "tell me about a time" questions and had 20 mins to ask my own questions at the end.
Step 4: Mock deal strategy overview (panel with 2 people - head of marketing and head of sales) - this took the most time. I spent several hours prepping bc I wanted to crush it. You'll be given all the details on what's expected of you, a slide deck template to use for your preso, etc. and then you're expected to share a 60-90 second elevator pitch for Surface at the end
Step 5: 15 minute CEO meeting / cultural/vibe assessment - very brief just getting to know each other time to make sure the two of you have good chemistry bc culture is so important here and you'll be working together on deals very often.
