Pango Group interview questions

Interviewed at this company, after 4 interviews the recruiter asked for work papers at my current employer so that the Hiring Manager can review. I replied I can’t since it will be inside information and the work paper is not my property. 2 days later they told me I did not get the job. I’ve already let law enforcement know and the SEC. This is illegal to ask for such information for an interview. I never felt so violated.
