Interview
I applied in person and the girl immediately told me she would ring to set up an interview. A week later I got a phone call to attend an interview. It was one on one with the manager of the store and she was very friendly and welcoming. The interview lasted about 30 mins. I got told I would be contacted the next week if I had got the job however three days later they phoned me. The manager offered me a temporary position which I declined as I had a permanent job somewhere else. However if I did not have that I would have accepted, it seemed like a lovely place to work and I am thankful they offered me it.
The interview itself was fairly formal with your standard questions. Mostly asked about any prior experiences and if we had any questions. The manager seemed chill and was easy to get along with.
I applied online and was called asking to come in for an interview. I was asked a couple of straightforward questions relating to the job role by the Assistant Manager. I was then called two weeks later and offered the job over the phone.
It was a group interview, and overall it felt pretty easy because the questions were straightforward, the environment was relaxed, and everyone had a fair chance to share their thoughts and experiences.
