      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Panda Restaurant Group (Minneapolis, MN) in May 2025

      Interview

Very poor experience. Recruiter reached out to me, and I was interested enough to start interview process. Told me there would be up to 7 interviews! My second interview with area ops manager was all I got to, he got on the online meeting, and it was clear he had no interest in me as a candidate. Cold, indifferent, and clearly didn't want to be there. Repeated questions as if I didn't answer them when I clearly did. Overall, aggressive and condescending.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Panda Restaurant Group (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2017

      Interview

I interviewed for 4 months. There was no sense of urgency to select a candidate. It’s now 8 months post and they still haven’t placed anyone. Those who interviewed were nice, somewhat stoic, but nice. After my 9th interview, I was asked for feedback and after I gave it, I was denied 3 weeks later by the recruiter. They couldn’t even demonstrate enough courage to communicate with me directly. I was extremely close to going to the EEO based on the fact that everyone who interviewed me was of Asian decent, aside from one person at Corporate. It didn’t seem any challenge or change was welcome. It was also disturbing that the store manager we visited, who manages a flagship location, told me that he wasn’t accustomed to the questions I was asking him because the leaders usually just come in and say hey how are you. Soooo this is a flagship location, frequently visited, and corporate isn’t engaging with employees? Huge problem. I rarely even eat there anymore based on how I was dragged along for almost half a year.
