      Program Manager Interview

      19 Jan 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Lake Forest, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panasonic (Lake Forest, CA) in Jan 2012

      Interview

A pretty simple process with regard to the position. Director was located in a different office location. 1st phone interview was HR driven - simple questions regarding background, experience, position of interest, etc. Explanation of benefits and corporate structure, etc. A couple days later had a call from HR to schedule the interview - which we agreed would be the next day. Next day - phone call from Director as he was in another office location. Questions related to experieinces in Program Management and what experiences I brought that woud transition over well or what I could do within the organization to work within the current processes or improve them. I would suggest that knowing someone within Panasonic will certainly help get you the interview. Personal references go a long way in positions.

      Program Manager Interview

      5 Jul 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sparks, NV
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Panasonic (Sparks, NV)

      Interview

Interview was pleasant overall. Typical phone screening with recruiter, then with the hiring manager. Final interview was a panel like interview with a presentation on-site. Everyone was great, engaged, and lively. Although Panasonic is quite an attractive place to work, the pay is quite low compared to other industries. Lower pay your first year is not at all attractive and promising to get a pay increase after your first year isn't a good recruiting tool. That's a no for me dawg.

      Question 1

Lots of STAR like questions. Give me a time when you had to sway a crowd, a time when you had a hard learning, etc.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Panasonic (Lake Forest, CA)

      Interview

Was with two individuals. Interview was straight forward and very discussion-like rather than question and answer. The interviewers were very friendly and shared their own experiences at Panasonic. Afterwards, they did not have time to give me a tour of the facility because it was the end of the day, but did invite me back to tour the facility later (old Lake Forest office).

      Question 1

Go through the standard way I tend to manage a new project/program.
