      Line Worker Interview

      22 Jun 2015
      Anonymous employee
Ilfracombe, Devon, South West England, England
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Pall (Ilfracombe, Devon, South West England, England)

      Interview

So the start is at the agency where they give you a series of tests on maths and English to get the educated people I guess, this also gives you more of an insight to what Pall does as a company,, their background and goals etc. Once you pass that you are asked to go to the factory to have an interview with someone from the factory. Everyone sat in the reception of the building, I had to wait for at least 20 minutes before anyone came to greet us. The first contact was the man describing the process, first of all we all got drug tested. This made 2 people just simply up and leave.I found this very uncomfortable and quite frankly unprofessional, as it was in order to get the job you had to do it. Then we had a sit down one to one interview where he got to know me and more. It was very basic.
