They have took multiple rounds of interviews knowing my skills and experience. Round with content head and BD head for the HR positions have been taken, then after the final founder round and following up their current HR told me that they are particularly looking for someone from the recruitment part only and I am not the fit candidate. Which i guess they should have known since the start and still decided to go ahead with all the 4 interview rounds before rejection.
Also the HR there was more focused on getting to know my previous organisations joining month, leaving month and the salary I was getting paid at the time of joining and leaving those organisations, instead of my knowledge, work or skills.
