Experienced a lengthy interview process. While I did not get the job, I felt compelled to share my experience.
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds, each requiring significant time and energy on my part. I made myself available at short notice for several interviews, which were repetitive. This process felt unnecessarily drawn out and demanding.
The interviews themselves were often disorganized and unprofessional. Interviewers were frequently late and appeared unprepared. In some instances, the interviews were conducted in less-than-ideal settings. There were also technical difficulties during some interviews, further adding to the lack of professionalism.
Throughout the process, I received positive feedback and was led to believe that I was performing well in each round. However, upon being informed that I was not selected for the position, I was not given any specific reason for their decision. This disappointing lack of transparency left me feeling undervalued as a candidate who has put a lot of effort into the interviewing process.
While I appreciate the opportunity to interview, I believe there are areas where the interview process could improve by streamlining it to be more efficient and less demanding for candidates. Additionally, they could be more transparent and avoid misleading candidates about their performance.
