The recruiter described this position as an internal project management role that would help them with IT projects as they expanded the business. I was initially told the interview would be regarding my personality and previous experience. However, a day before the interview, they sent me an email asking me to prepare for a sales interview. I verified with the recruiter that she understood I applied for the project manager role, not the sales position, but was still asked to conduct a sales interview. -I informed the recruiter I was not interested in a sales role and advised updating the Project Manager job description to an external sales role.
