I was referred by a current employee of PNC. I first submitted my resume online, and then had to take a skills test directly afterward (it was incredibly stressful!). The following day I got a phone call from a hiring rep that gave me a brief phone interview. I passed that and she scheduled me an actual interview. A week later, I went to the interview and passed that. I then got the go-ahead and had to get fingerprinting done for the company as well as a background check (both of which were incredibly tedious). PNC *will* hire people with criminal backgrounds, by the way. I had a DUI on my record from a few years prior to my being hired, but they only care if you've had theft on your record. Obviously, it's a bank.
