PGH Wong Engineering interview questions

PGH Wong Engineering, Inc has developed a formal and interesting interview process that will keep potential hires on their feet thinking throughout the interview process. Company visions and goals were shared straight off the back that way the interviewee has a better understanding of how to use that information in supplement to my response to their behavioral questions. The interview process includes a phone screening, 2 in person interviews, and a final reference check. I was interviewed by the executive vice president and business development manager and then latter joined with one of the founders of the company. The accounting position with this firm requires extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products especially Microsoft Excel and basic accounting knowledge as well. I was asked to demonstrate the use of Pivot tables with a set of sample data they had already generated for me and was asked 20 rapid accounting questions. My second interview was with the controller and executive vice president again. Basic accounting questions were asked again in addition to a written personality quiz. All in all, I really enjoyed the formal layout of the interview process and this is clearly because PGH strives to hire only the best suited and it shows through the interview and the detailed questions asked.
