      Senior Java Software Engineer Interview

      2 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PEAK6 (Chicago, IL)

      Interview

Waste of time process, no substance or relevance to your experience and possibly the future role itself. The very first step is a online coding assignment which requires you to be in front of a computer (not your phone) in which case if you're already employed, you have to take a day off just for that. You have about 30 minutes to answer with the interviewer watching your every keystroke or mouse click. All you have to do, is study all 30 or so coding assignments they rotate and you'd pass.
