I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Owens Corning (Toledo, OH) in Jul 2025
Interview
My interview was only with the recruiter, however, they mentioned that if I was selected to move forward, two additional interviews would follow: a virtual interview (Microsoft Teams) and an in-person interview onsite in Toledo, OH. For the most part, the recruiter shared details about the role, compensation, and benefits. They then proceeded to ask full-blown interview questions instead of screening questions tailored to the specific needs of the role at that time (something I would find out later after being rejected).
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Owens Corning
Interview
Online interview with hiring manager followed by another interview with some of the team members. Followed by onsite interview with 2 team member groups and plant manager - each interview scheduled for 30 min.
Fast and easy, just common behavioral questions. I honestly was not ready for the position being offered. I wasn’t expecting to be the only engineer in the plant. But good group and good experience overall
It was very straightforward, 45 minute behavioral interview, asked many questions about how I approach different problems. A lot of the questions seemed to be made to be much more different than most behavioral, but the process was quite nice. Interviewers were very chill, and they were both engineers.
