Outplay interview questions

Went through a referral, was a straight forward interview, was rejected on grounds they couldn't afford my pay. Thirty words and counting, thirty one, thirty two, god save the Queen

The interview experience was quite unfavorable. The HR representative provided inaccurate information regarding the recent layoffs within the organization. Despite her assurance that there were no layoffs, evidence to the contrary emerged, which eroded her credibility and led me to discontinue the interview process.
