I applied for the job via email and got an invitation to interview via Zoom about three weeks later. The interview was with the President & CEO of the organization, and it lasted almost an hour long. It was a pretty bad experience — she laughed at me for thinking I could be qualified for the role. We went over my resume/CV, and she discounted any work experience that was not paid, such as internships at other nonprofits. After the interview, I decided to withdraw from the application process because of some of the disrespectful comments I received.
