I submitted my resume online. I then introduced myself to the manager and was invited for an interview. My interview was a bit nontraditional: in the room were the managers of two departments, two nurses, and a tech. At various times new people came into the room and were invited to sit and listen and ask questions. The questions were about my professional experiences, how they prepared me for the fast paced environment of the hospital, how i dealt with time management under pressure, why i was interested in healthcare, had i ever taken care of anyone before, etc. After the interview the manager from the specific department i was applying for showed me around the unit and told me they were very interested and i would get their official offer within the week.
