Contacted for a initial video call interview, this went well and manager was WFH. They dropped some comments about the hybrid work model they had - showing disapproval to the 4 day work week that was optional, the job is advertised as hybrid however expect you to complete probation completely onsite either doing 10 hours a day for four days or 8 hours for five days. The office location is very remote but offer no support to get there if you cant drive. After this i was told there would be a date given to me within a week for an onsite interview. They took 2.5 weeks to get back to me, and when they did, they expected me (while working fulltime) to be able to come for an interview the very next day. When I said this week did not suit me as I was going on a trip on Friday and could not make the next day interview, I started to receive multiple calls and emails that showcased they did not understand what I was saying - that I was unavailable until the following Monday. I was in work when they were calling and it was very disrespectful. I ended up emailing to withdraw my application based on how uncomfortable this made me aswell as the delay in getting back to me aswell as the comments made towards the hybrid work model and fourday work week in the one interview I did. A month later I received an email rejecting my 'application' and that I was 'not selected for interview'. No acknowledgement of me withdrawing my application was made.
