Everyone was great except the main interviewer, who clearly did not want to be there and was disinterested in any dialogue. Their body language (Zoom) with arms over their head and talking down to the desk made me feel like I was interrupting their day. I even heard the occasional sigh. It felt very unprofessional.

Question 1
What do you know about Options-IT Why did you choose your degree What’s your favourite technology and why
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Options-IT (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Jun 2022
Interview
Stay away from Options-IT!
The interview process was 4 weeks long and I had to continuously email executives and team leads whom I interviewed with to get an update on my interview status and when I could expect an offer.
After 4 weeks of constant follow-up I was finally declined for the role and the reason was that there were numerous applications and the company had recently hired a new wave of graduate students in Belfast, Northern Ireland. There was no capacity for me despite being open to relocating to the New York office.
Had I not actively emailed individuals at the company for a follow-up they may have never gotten back to me.
It took them 4 weeks to realize there was no capacity for me and I feel like I had my time wasted. It feels like I was just interviewed as a formality. The interview questions are not technical at all; they are all character and behavioral-based questions, but if you are not selected they make it seem like you were not chosen for technical reasons.
The HR team and executives are very disorganized and will not reply to your emails regarding follow ups or any questions whatsoever.
I would stay away from this company unless you have a reference. It seems there is a massive bias towards Belfast based students, the HR team is non-existent and they will disrespect your time and effort by not communicating whether you have passed the interview process or not.
Please do not have your time wasted like I did!
