It was a lengthy and exhausting hiring process that took more than a month to complete. I went through four interview rounds and an assignment, only to be told by the hiring manager at the end that he believed I was not willing to relocate to Pune. This was disappointing because relocation willingness could have been clarified much earlier in the process. Raising this concern only after multiple rounds of interviews and an assignment resulted in a significant investment of time and effort that could have been avoided.
