      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at One Park Financial (Ciudad de Mexico) in Sept 2024

      Interview

I recently interviewed for the Sales Supervisor position at One Park Financial and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. During the interview, I encountered several concerns. The interviewer, seemed to have a limited understanding of the sales cycle, particularly in relation to the role of the BDR and SDR teams, which is crucial in organizations with a larger sales cycle. His perspective on BDRs and SDRs, which he referred to as "operations," did not align with my experience and understanding of the sales process. Despite differing viewpoints, I chose not to engage in an argument and allowed the discussion to proceed as he directed. Additionally, some of the questions posed, such as inquiries about my personal financial motivations and spending habits, felt out of context and irrelevant to the supervisory role for which I was interviewing. The feedback I received suggested that my resume was incomplete because it focused on the three most relevant roles to date, which is a common practice for conciseness and clarity. There was also a comment from another manager indicating that the company was primarily seeking a salesperson, not someone with leadership experience, which seemed inconsistent with the expectations for a Sales Supervisor position. This left me with the impression that the role's requirements were not clearly defined. Moreover, the overall atmosphere during the interview was not conducive to a positive candidate experience. The security staff's strict monitoring and the request for personal information, such as my car's make, model, and license plate number, felt intrusive and unnecessary. The only positive aspect of my experience was the professionalism and courtesy of the recruiter, who facilitated the process smoothly. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving your interview process and candidate experience. Best regards,
