Interview
Process was comprised of 4 major interviews: Director of Engineering (Hiring Manager) asking about leadership and people management. A Principal Engineer asking a system design question to tech technical ability. A Product Manager asking about cross-functional skills, working with stakeholders, and testing business acumen. Finally a peer Engineering Manager digging deeper into team management style. After the interviews there was a follow up call with the hiring manager to allow me to ask any additional questions I have and an informal references review.

Question 1
Design a system for ingesting, processing, and vending physical activity data from customers. The data will come from a variety of IoT devices (scale, blood pressure cuff, glucose monitor, etc), needs to be stored, and made visible to the customer via a dashboard in their app.
