2 round interview. First with the hiring manager and went over what was on resume via remote meeting (30 min). Second interview was meeting the team onsite for 3 hours. Hiring process up until after the 2nd interview was quick. However, I did not hear back in two weeks. Sent a follow up email for status on hiring process and in a couple of minutes later the hiring manager sent a boiler plate rejection email. Seemingly, it appears he pretty much forgot to inform other candidates that they would not proceed further. It appears I would not have gotten any communication had I not sent him a reminder, showing a lack of respect for candidates' time and effort. Would not recommend joining their IT team as this reflects poorly on their communication.
