I interviewed at Oliver Bonas (Southwark, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
In my book, any employer worth their salt would contact potential job candidates post-interview to let them know the outcome of the position, whatever that may be. Disappointing they couldn’t be bothered to let me know, especially as this company supposedly champions mental health awareness and support. Big thumbs down.
In store interview and on the job evaluation, very relaxed and informal. I was even offered a cup of tea. The whole process was just under an hour for me and the interviewer was lovely. Make sure you have examples of experiences in other jobs as the face to face interview part definitely benefits from them
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about company ethos; work hard, play hard, be kind
Phone interview, then in person interview. It was fine, however they asked pretty much the same questions over the phone as they did in person which felt weird. They don’t offer good feedback or informed me on what I could’ve improved on either unfortunately!
