I spoke one-on-one with the Rep’s Legislative Aid at the House. Took maybe a half hour, she mainly asked me questions about my resume and told me more about the internship.

Interviewed with the State Rep - and then had a follow up with the House HR team. Simple - easy - this was 10+ years ago - but hopefully they pay LAs more than they did back then!

It was an informal meeting with a house member where we discussed their district and their issues and they asked about my background. It was very laid back but it could be different from member to member.
