First part of the interview consisted of a series of case studies on monopoly regulation, price discrimination, public goods, externalities, and auctions. The second part of the interview consisted of a series of behavioural questions and questions of the type "tell me about a time".

Long process (6 weeks between application submission and first interview). Initially there were multiple phone calls with the HR department before a video call was arranged with the hiring manager and two other colleagues. Competency based questioning. Then in person interview to follow.

I submitted my CV and they called me without previous notice. Then I had to answer a question in 500 words (why would you like to work with us and how are you a good fit for the role”. Then I had another conversation with HR regarding visa and salary expectations. Then I had a virtual interview that lasted 30 minutes.
