Interview
Toxic - that is the word to describe my experience with oceansix (it belongs to the company context of Ram.ON, just a the company Cabka does). Throughout the 1h of this 1st interview, the interviewer felt the need to insult my professional competence (not constructively challenge - but explicitly insult), he was aggressive and discriminating on several levels (including ageism, which is particularly remarkable as he himself is in his 60´s and way older than me...). An astonishing lack of emotional intelligence, communication skills and recruitment best practices, besides not mastering the basics of common courtesy. I never experienced anything like this in my entire career! In top of that, the company lacks transparency towards candidates (no website, no information about office locations, team, concrete activity / details about the line of business, hardly any information about the owners / executive management team, who the role reports to, etc...). I took a day to let it sink in and reflect and respectfully declined his offer to talk again, indicating my reasons. I´m looking for career opportunity, not an abusive work relationship.
