The interview process is long and thorough. It took six months from my application date to my first day on the job. They contact your friends and family and previous employers. A polygraph test and physiological evaluation is required.

It is pretty straight forward for a Police Officer interview. I did not have any issues, however I prepared for a few weeks before going into the interview. If you prepare, you should not have any issues.
