I applied online. I interviewed at Obviouslee (Charleston, SC) in Nov 2022
Interview
The first interview was a quick Culture Connect which was a 'get to know you, the position, and the company' type phone call with the founder of Obviouslee. Second interview was with the position's supervisor and was a 45 minute zoom interview. In this interview, I answered some questions regarding my experience in business operations and was able to ask role specific questions. After deliberation on their end and connecting with references, I had a job offer within 14 business days.

Interview
Very nice, seemed interested in my experience, ultimately decided I did not have enough experience which they could have seen by reading my resume more thoroughly. Wish they took more chances on entry level employees.

Interview
I interviewed with the founder Lee Deas and firstly she showed up late to our Zoom meeting, which is very unprofessional. She began by just letting me talk about myself while she took notes. Lee looked down the whole time and didn't show any interest in what I was saying. Obviouslee has an amazing diversity & inclusion plan but doesn't seem to be putting that in effect as she made me feel uncomfortable. Do better!
I apologize again for running behind and absolutely value everyone's time. We send an email in advance to let everyone know that the first session is a casual connect and is set up as a 20 minute, informal discussion. It is meant to be much more casual than a traditional interview.
Ahead of the connect I do let each individual know that I'll be taking notes which is why my head was down -- I then share those notes with the rest of the hiring team. In regards to DEI we have a working plan that is published on our website, an internal collective that has dedicated time and resources and consultants that work with us all year. We are extremely passionate about our continued work in this area. We do believe that we can continue to improve and do better. We value every candidate's feedback and encourage applicants to reach out with any questions or concerns about the interview process.
