A few weeks after sending in my application, got an email to schedule an appointment. So I do. Gets cancelled hours before by the recruiter, who asks me to choose again. So I do. That one also gets cancelled. And the next. Three cancellations in total. The fourth time, I get emailed a few hours before, saying "I'm on a flight - can we do a few hours later". We finally connect on video call. It went well. Usual first round questions. Then nothing. Radio silence. I follow up via email. No reply. Bear in mind, this recruiter is pretty senior in Oaknorth, as the role I was applying for was senior too. Seems like they have a pretty bad culture there, where either she's overworked like crazy. Or she just doesn't care about candidates. Way to make a first impression. Oaknorth has gone on my bargepole list, and you should take my experience as a red flag.
