There was a mismatch on your salary expectation vs the value that you bring to our table, Because of this we could not offer what you had requested and same was conveyed to you. 2. More over - post interviewing companies can always quote the maximum they can offer and its up to the candidate to decide to take it or leave it this called salary negotiation which all companies does. 3. Coming for an interview with a fixed CTC in mind and getting upset later is not the correct mindset, We also remember you saying that the same thing has happened to you with 3+ companies recently, and it’s a good idea to introspect on this expectation of yours.
