The hiring manager called me for a brief phone screen to review the position description and talk high-level about how I might be a fit for the role; we also discussed salary to ensure no major gaps there. After that, I met with the hiring manager and another team member for an initial onsite interview, mostly behavioral and skill-based questions. Next, I met with the owner to chat more about the company, my career goals, etc. I then submitted a writing sample and took the DiSC personality test. From the initial phone screen to my start date, it took just under one month.
