Interview
First round was a Teams call with HR. Without any prior warning this was a competency based interview which was recorded. Second round was a Teams call with the two hiring managers and this was a pleasant chat through my cv. Following this I received multiple phone calls from HR over the course of the week informing me I was the preferred candidate for the role. Then nothing. No offer was ever made. After multiple follow up attempts I have accepted that HR is ghosting me. HR should avoid using misleading language in the future and should have the courage to inform candidates they were not successful. Ghosting is not appropriate in any situation, but is completely unacceptable in the professional working world.
The interview was one of my best. Very easy, more like a chat rather then question and answer. Has a good laugh with the managers, as you having the interview directly with your line manager, not rectruitment team. Only 1 interview and that's it.
Standard process mostly managed by a recruitment agency. Initially, a phone screen call was arranged, this then was followed by the in person interview. Meeting took place at the offices, and included meeting both the hiring manager and one of more senior peers.
