Interview process: 1. Candidate completes online application. 2. Employer HR contacts candidate if interested. 3. Employer HR conducts interview with a series of investigative questions to see if candidate is a good fit for the position. 4. If employer likes candidate, HR employer schedules follow up interview with department leadership. 5. Department leadership conducts their side of the interview with more investigative questions for applicability and fit. 6. Job offer is presented if all goes well and there is a mutual alignment of interests.

The interviewer asked questions back to back with no commenting in between. Would answer a question and would get an "okay" before moving on. Overall felt very serious and made it a bit more stressful.
